Garrett Symes is doing his part to wipe out cancer. Garrett has been visiting the elementary classrooms with a large CANCER board, a handful of sticky notes, and the message that OPS students can do their part to help prevent cancer. The idea was to have students purchase a sticky note for 50 cents, on this note they wrote down a way to keep their body healthy and prevent cancer. the notes were fastened to the cancer board until the word CANCER was covered. Proceeds earned from this innovative idea are towards Garrett's Relay for Life team. Way to go Garrett!
