AISI project

OPS had their AISI project (government initiated program) of Just Write approved by the school division last week. This means $16,000 will be coming to OPS to use towards this program. The program will have all students in grade 1-9 participate in a writing program at their level. There will be two 40 minute periods per week alloted to this program. In year two of the program it will expand to include reading with the writing program. Thank you to Mrs. Machell who is the lead teacher of this program. She has spent many hours planning our proposal for the school division. All staff are very excited about the AISI project that will start next year.
